Alexandria Legends Golf opened 2021-22 fall season play with a sixth place men’s team finish, while Abby Hamman finished seventh in women’s individual competition at the University of Jamestown Fall Invite on Aug. 29 and 30.
Jayme French also posted top 10 scores for the men, finishing seventh individually.
Out of 30 individuals Hamman golfed an 86 in round one and an 87 in round two for a total of 171 in seventh place.
French posted scores of 76 and 75 respectively for 151 in seventh place out of 50 men’s golfers. Lukas Justesen placed 19, Conner Josephson place 27, Gannon Lueck tied for 33 and Hunter Brunkow tied for 42.
As a team, Legends men’s golfers scored 319 and 321 for 640 in sixth, just ahead of fellow Minnesota State team, M State – Fergus Falls Spartans.
Legends Golf competes next in Fergus Falls on Sept. 19 and 20.
