Minnesota state financial aid programs for students are hosted within the secure Minnesota Aid (MNAid) Student Portal. The webpage you are visiting is the entry point into the MNAid Student Portal.

Upon submission of online applications within MNAid, you may receive a confirmation email from aid@mnaid.minnesota.gov or mnaid@nelnet.net. These are legitimate email addresses associated with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and the administration of state financial aid programs.

Please note: Your MNAid login is not your FSA ID/StudentAid.gov account that you used with Federal Student Aid when you filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). That credential is different and is used for federal based financial aid.  MNAid is for state based financial aid.
