Commencement will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025
We are looking forward to celebrating our graduates with an in-person Commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 14 at the Runestone Community Center! The ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm and will honor graduates of Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025.
Accessible parking will be available. Golf carts will be available to shuttle guests from general parking to the ceremony.
This event will be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend in person.
GRADUATES: Doors will open at 11:00 am and all grads should plan to arrive no later than 12:00 pm. No tickets or reservations required.

Due to road construction near the Runestone Community Center, please view the map below for driving directions and parking locations (click/tap image to download PDF version). Handicap accessible parking will be available, and a shuttle will be available to and from the west parking areas. Download directions as PDF.
Hotel Accommodations
Discounted room rates are available at area hotels, just for our graduates’ families and friends. Discount is available for the nights of May 13 unless otherwise noted. Rooms can be booked by calling the hotel directly and asking for the ATCC Graduation Rate.

Friends and family are welcome to attend this year's event in person at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria, MN - no tickets or RSVP are required. Caps + Gowns
Gowns are provided at no cost to grads, but must be returned after the ceremony. Caps/tassels will be yours to keep.
Police Training & Education grads: You DO NOT need to pick up a cap and gown. You will wear your uniform, and your tassels and other items will be distributed at the practice on May 13. Details will be emailed to you.
Graduation gowns can be picked up in room 308 (Student Life):
- Wednesday, May 7 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Thursday, May 8 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Monday, May 12 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Additional items:
- Students who are in PTK will be given stoles at gown pick-up, to be returned after the ceremony.
- Students who are military service members or veterans should request a Patriotic Cord to keep. Please request when you pick up your cap and gown.
- Students graduating with Honors will receive an Honors tassel.

Reserved items will be available for pick up from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (prior to the ceremony) on May 14. A reminder email will be sent to you the Monday of Commencement week.
