USNCC Updates

The Fall 2 term has begun. With it, we welcome back our returning students as well as new students in several new program options!  We now have students in our: 

• Nuclear Engineering Technology AS degree and Diploma programs,  

• General Engineering Technology AAS degree and Certificate programs, 

• General Engineering AS degree program, and 

• General Engineering Science Certificate program  

If you are unable to do the Fall 2 ATCC course we contacted you about & registered you for, please inform your ATCC Advisor by 11:59 PM on Friday, October 25. This allows us to administratively drop you from the course without penalty.  

The Fall 2 courses, and the 16-week Fall 1 courses, will wrap up on December 23. At that point we will begin winter break which runs until January 13, 2025, when the Spring 1 2025 term will begin. 

We hope to have info about Spring 1 courses sent out to returning students within the next 4-6 weeks. As soon as we get the final eligibility list from USNCC for the term, we’ll be in touch. As always, if USNCC approves you for an ATCC course, we will communicate with you about it and register you for your course.  

Another exciting change is the addition of our new ATCC staff members who will be working with the USNCC partnership.  Robin Webster will be working as a second advisor for the USNCC students and Mary Yutrzenka is providing administrative support for Beth and Robin. Students may receive communication from Mary with reminders about information needed or upcoming deadlines.  Keep an eye on the website for their contact information to be posted soon!  Some students have been working with Simi for the past few months, but her duties at the college are changing, and she will no longer be working with the USNCC partnership.  Please reach out to Beth with any questions/concerns for the time being. 

Be sure to check the Calendar & Important Dates section for course start/end dates and other essential information for ATCC. USNCC’s calendar is different than ours for the courses they teach, so be sure to check out USNCC’s calendar, as well.
