The following tests may also be used to earn college credit but are not administered at ATCC.

Advanced Placement (AP)

AP allows high school students to complete designated college level courses in high school and earn college credit by demonstrating a specified level of performance on AP exams. Students must have their official AP score report sent directly from the College Entrance Examination Board to ATCC.

International Baccalaureate

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is an internationally recognized program through which secondary students complete a comprehensive curriculum of rigorous study and demonstrate performance on culminating examinations. The examination for the IB diploma covers six subjects, three or four of which must be at the higher level, with others at the standard level. Students may present a full IB diploma or a certificate recognizing specific subject examinations and be considered for credit based on the examination level and result.

The IB Diploma Program is a course of study for students up to the age of 19 that leads to examinations in various subjects. ATCC will grant credit for scores of 4 or higher on individual IB examinations or successful completion of the IB program. More information about IB is available at External Website: International Baccalaureate - www.ibo.org.
