Communication Design
Alexandria Technical & Community College offers a well-rounded program to prepare students for work in the field of communication design. Coursework includes graphic design and design technology, communication design, design production, and portfolio and capstone projects. A unique course blend allows students to choose from two add-on electives: web/UI or illustration. The innovative Design Production course goes beyond theory and gives students real-world experience problem solving and developing creative for actual clients.
The Communication Design program has a partnership with Bemidji State University for students looking to pursue their bachelor's degree, and many students have transferred credits to public and private universities across the upper Midwest to continue their education.
Students will receive a brand new MacBook laptop to keep as part of this program.
